I wasn't a member of the Institute myself (I was there as a partner), but my impression was that my husband was mostly interacting with the other temporary folks at the IAS (and with the faculty of the local universities, Princeton and Rutgers). Doing research with the IAS's (small number of) permanent faculty is not what most people are there for.C. L.
