This is me...

I've posted a lot of naughty things on this blog, and I'll probably post more, so I just thought that for balance I should post some photos to demonstrate how wholesome I really am!!!

Here's a photo of me as a BYU student. See if you can find me in this picture:

Here I am as a grad student:

Here I've finally graduated, with that Ph.D. in hand!!! Woo-Hoo!!! :D

My mom earned her master's degree in journalism at the same time, and we got some great photos of the two of us as graduates together!!! She's LDS though, so I'm not sure she wants me posting photos of her on this blog, as if she endorses it or something... (She's even hotter than I am, by the way... ;-) )

Here's a picture from my wedding reception:

A little later in the evening:

Same couple, ten months later:

(Yeah, I know, we were embarrassingly conventional on the timing of that first kid, but what can you do?)

Oh yeah? PhDs are sexy? So how come I couldn't get a date even if my life depended on it while in college? Maybe quantum physics and astrophysics had something to do with it... Oh, and I am not sexy and attractive... shit...

Thanks John!!!

Yes, the top one is the most recent of this batch (although you can see that it's more than a year old by how small Leo is).

That's great that your wife is on her way to a doctorate as well!!! :D

Hey Montchan!!!

Don't try to pretend you're not sexy -- we've all seen pictures of you over on your blog!!! :D

Yow! You look nothing like the picture of the woman with the shaved head that (used to be?) in your template...

And a Ph.D.? Who knew?

Oh, there she is - next to your comment...

Um, is anyone else completely outraged? Because it is wrong - just WRONG - to be both brilliant AND beautiful. You and montchan should be BFF. You should get matching tattoos. Because I've met her, and yes, {sigh of resignation} she, too, is a gorgeous genius. Have I perhaps mentioned before that math/science people are my heroes?

You are quite the hottie! (especially for BYU) It is nice to put a face to the blog. I was beginning to wonder if you were a blonde with a mohawk. :)

I also couldn't get a date in college, well not with any semi-normal guys. All of my dates consisted of huge group outings and was very similar to Family Home Evening. Hey...maybe that was their way of getting me to attend. I'm still amazed that I graduated without attending church even 60% of the time.

Great pictures, I too like the PhD picture picture and being a dad I am also a sucker for the family pictures too. Someday I will probably post some photos but I when I do I most likely will be drunk...

Know what's the BESTEST thing I've seen all day?!?

You wore a red dress for your wedding!! I LOVE THAT!

**spinning with the very idea**

Thanks everyone!!! You guys are too sweet!!!

Regarding the dress -- thanks, I thought it would be fun to throw tradition out the window on this one. ;-)

Actually, the dress is a deep orange and I only wore it for the reception. For the wedding ceremony (at city hall) I wore a green dress. :D

Chanson :)

I can't believe I missed this page before.

Thanks for the great eye and comment on "Seasons" - I've updated the name (should have been Jezebel, not Lydia!) and gave you due credit.

I love the pictures here. You are stunning, inside and out.
