It's time to vote for this year's "Bloggernacle Niblet Awards"!!!
This year, for the first time, I've actually been nominated for one! OK, well, I mean I nominated myself, but I'm in the running nonetheless: for "Nicest Evil Villain."
You may recall that I tried to get written in for this honor last year, but I guess I didn't understand the nomination procedure or something. This time -- as soon as I proposed the category "Nicest Evil Villain" -- a bunch of other people decided that they should be in the running for that category as well! So my little "write-in" category got promoted to being a full-fledged Niblet category!
But I'm the original "Nicest Evil Villain" of the Mormon Blogosphere, so please vote for me! :D

Uh-oh, Chris. As of right now I have 46 votes and 55% of the vote to your 13 votes with 15% of the vote.
If that doesn't change by the end of the day, I apologize for usurping your crown.
Hey Jack!!!
That's OK, I forgive you. But, y'know, my name is not Chris. ;^)
LOL! I thought your name was Chris Hanson.
Wow, that's embarrassing. Why don't I just have a seat over there...
Nope. Perhaps you're confusing me with Chris Smith...?
My pen-name is "chanson" or "C.L. Hanson", my real first name is Carol, my real last name is the same as my brother's (see here). It's not a secret, but I avoid typing it out on this blog for Google reasons. If that doesn't make sense, just see how I got my name. :D
Of course I voted for you -- you will always be my favorite nice villain.

Thanks Wry!!!
I voted for you, Chris.
Thanks Jake!!!
hahahaha
I just saw this.
And it made me laugh SO HARD.
LOL!
Thanks BiV!!!
Funny, yet all true. ;^)
I hope you voted for me -- I voted for you in the categories you were up for. :D
I admit it. I voted for you. And I even know your real name.
See you soon!!!
Thanks!!!
I'm looking forward to meeting you at Sunstone too! :D
Carol--Nope, I'm pretty sure I just mixed you up with this Chris Hansen, though the fact that Chris Smith and you often post on similar blogs probably accounts for why I made that link in my mind.
The story of how you got your name is interesting. I began posting on the Answering Mormonism discussion board (now defunct) back in 1998 as "Junia," when I was 16. I switched to the handles "Illyria" and "ClobberGirl" over the years before finally settling down on just going by my real name.
So you thought I was a guy? lol.
Of course, I only noticed your blog quite recently myself, and from your nickname, I might have guessed you were a guy too...
Oh no, I knew you were a she, but I had the "Chris Hansen/Hanson" name stuck in my head due to To Catch a Predator, so I just kind of applied it to you for some reason.
Yeah, I don't really understand me sometimes either.
I voted for you. Is this over? Did you win? I think you're very nice, but EXCEPTIONALLY evil.
Thanks Rebecca!!!
I expect it's over and I expect that I didn't win...
